Welcome to Another Inspiring Week in Quarter 2! Our campus momentum continues to build as we celebrate the phenomenal talents of our performing arts team, the energetic school spirit of our students, and our ongoing focus on academic excellence. Thank you for your constant support in making our school community such a vibrant place to learn and grow.
Celebrating Student Success & Campus Spirit - Fall Play Standing Ovation: Bravo to the cast, crew, and directors of our School Fall Play! Our student actors and production team worked countless hours to deliver a wildly funny and entertaining performance. Thank you to all the families and staff who filled the audience to cheer on our talented Jets!
- Red Ribbon Week Spirit Days: Our campus was filled with energy and creativity last week as we celebrated Red Ribbon Week! From hilarious Meme Day outfits to creative costumes on Book Character Day, our students did an incredible job showing off their school spirit while taking a unified stance for healthy, drug-free choices.
Academic Focus: Preparing for Progress Report 2 - Progress Report 2 Approaching Quickly: Progress Report 2 grades will be finalized before we know it. Please take time this week to log into the portal with your child and review their current standing.
- Proactive Make-Up Work: We strongly encourage students to connect directly with their teachers now to resolve any missing assignments, schedule retakes, or ask for extra support before grades close.
Important Reminders & Daily Operations - Community Parking Courtesy: Please respect our business neighbors across the street during drop-off and pick-up by leaving handicap spaces and spots directly in front of the bank entrance open for active bank customers.
- Campus Safety & Communication: Remind your student to "hear something, say something" to a teacher, counselor, or administrator so our team can address any concerns early.
- Supervision Windows: Campus supervision is available 30 minutes before school starts and 30 minutes after dismissal. Please ensure students use designated crosswalks when arriving or leaving campus.
Thank you for your ongoing commitment to our students, staff, and school family. Let's make it another fantastic week!
Together we work, and together we grow.
Go Jets! |

Hello Jet Families, I wanted to make current students and families aware of an exciting opportunity for next school year. Students interested in the OCPS Magnet and Scholastic Academy Program (Personal Finance/Esports strand only) must apply during this year's application window, as enrollment is limited.
The OCPS Magnet and Scholastic Academy application officially opens on October 13 at 9:00 a.m. Students interested in joining the program are encouraged to apply as soon as the application becomes available.
Please note that the application window is only open for a short period of time (approximately one week). Families are encouraged to submit applications promptly to ensure their student is considered.
Current students who have already been approved and accepted into the program do not need to reapply. Your current approval will remain valid and will be honored for next school year.
Please be advised that the goal of the Scholastic Academy is to maintain enrollment with 100% approved students who have demonstrated an interest in and commitment to the program's focus areas. As a result, available seats are limited, and priority will be given to students who complete the application process and meet program requirements.
The Personal Finance and Esports Scholastic Academy Program provides students with opportunities to develop financial literacy, career readiness, teamwork, leadership, critical thinking, and technology skills through engaging, real-world learning experiences. If you have any questions regarding the application process or the program, please feel free to contact me.
Thank you for your continued support.
Sincerely, Ms. Fray Legacy Middle School Personal Finance & Esports Scholastic Academy |
