Principal’s Message

Dear Legacy Middle School Families, Community Members, and Jets,

Welcome to a brand-new school year at Legacy Middle School! It is an absolute honor and privilege to introduce myself as your new Principal. I am incredibly excited to step into a school with such a strong foundation, thanks to the leadership of Jason Jimenez. His dedication to making Legacy a true reflection of our vibrant community is something I deeply admire and it’s a vision I am thrilled to continue building on.

As your principal, my philosophy is simple: I believe in leading with relationships, empathy, and active presence. I am a deeply collaborative educator who believes that a school thrives when its leader treats it like a family. I don't lead from behind a desk; you will see me constantly visible on campus, in the hallways, and at school events, celebrating your students' achievements and supporting them through their challenges.

My professional journey has always been guided by a passion for the whole child and a belief in the power of an open door. Having a background rooted in school counseling, student services, and instructional advocacy, I naturally view leadership through a lens of support, listening, and care. I am genuinely invested in creating an inclusive, warm environment where every student, teacher, and family member feels safe, valued, and respected. Together, we will protect the successful programs that have defined Legacy over the last five years, while uniting as a community to push toward our next chapter of growth.

Legacy Middle School is a place with a rich history of academic pride and community connection. Though my most recent leadership roles took me across Orange County Public Schools serving as a Senior Administrator in Leadership Development and an Assistant Principal of Instruction my heart has always been in the daily, meaningful work of supporting schools and empowering learners. My core mission here at Legacy is to ensure our Jets receive a superior academic experience, essential life skills, and boundless opportunities, preparing every single student for a thriving future.
