Greetings, Jets!
We’ve made it to the final week before the holiday break! As we wrap up the first half of the school year, we want to thank you for your continued support and partnership.
During this season, we encourage everyone to stay safe, enjoy time with loved ones, and take the opportunity to rest and recharge. Our hope is that students return in January refreshed and ready to finish the year strong!
From all of us at Legacy, we wish you a joyful holiday season and a Happy New Year!

Mr. Moreno is a 6th grade science teacher. One of his most memorable moments as a teacher is when he made a garden with his students. Mr. Moreno has two cats and teaches for fun. His favorite quote is, “You have two ears, one mouth, so listen twice as much as you speak.”

Parents, please fill out this form to indicate whether or not you approve of your child attending, participating in, and experiencing any activities Legacy Middle School plans for our students' entertainment, experience, and learning opportunities both during and after school through the end of the school year. If you would like your child to opt out of any upcoming events or activities, please indicate which activities in the last question of this form.
Per Florida Rule 6A-10.089, we are required to obtain parental consent regarding all school-sponsored events and activities.
Some of our upcoming events and activities include, but are not limited to:
- Honor Roll Assemblies
- Teach-In, November

- Author Visits
We know that our community appreciates efficiency. That's why we're providing you with one form for the rest of this school year to consolidate and streamline parental consent forms like we did last year. This will benefit you so you will not be inundated with multiple requests.
The OCPS Parental Consent for Student Participation in School-Sponsored Events, Activities, and Student Clubs can be found in the link here: General Parent Consent Form
