Back-to-School Year Info

OCPS is committed to ensuring every student has a promising and successful future.During the COVID-19 pandemic, we are required by the Commissioner of Education’s Emergency Order to open schools with safety measures in place for students and staff. We are also committed to providing options to parents and teachers.

Our plans remain fluid during these unprecedented times, but the School Board innovative model plan has all students starting virtually August 10-20 using [email protected] to follow the regular school day bell schedule from home.   All families that selected face-to-face instruction will also be starting August 10-20 in the virtual format.

Student Computers

If your child is withdrawing to attend another OCPS school or another county/state, please set an appointment to return their device to LMS prior to the completion of the withdrawal process. Please check back for more information regarding device distribution for our incoming sixth graders.

If your child's device needs to be repaired or replaced, please complete the process at your child's 2020-2021 school site. Students can begin the process by creating a ticket here.. The ticket will go to your child's 2020-21 school site.

The state of Florida requires that all students entering 7th grade must have the Tetanus-diphtheria-pertussis (Tdap) immunization. Your child MUST have this immunization in order to start the 7th grade. For more information, visit the Florida Department of Health in Orange County site.
